The wax is swirled, layer upon layer, until the mold is evenly coated with a two-inch thickness of wax. Then, he carefully pours a molten mixture of natural and petroleum-based wax inside. Step 2: Making a Mold – Our fabricator forms an algenate mold from the clay sculpture.
